# Introduction

> Tribal Habits Public API V1 reference.

Welcome to the Tribal Habits Public API V1! You can use our API to manage your Tribal Habits user accounts (list, show, create and update) and other entities.

## Base URL

All endpoints are under your organisation's Tribal Habits domain:

https://myorg.tribalhabits.com/papi/...
```

  You must replace `myorg` with your organisation's subdomain name, and `my_api_key` in the examples with your organisation's API key. See [Authentication](/authentication).

If you have a Vanity Domain you can use it instead. See [Vanity URL](/vanity-url).

## Dates and times

* Timestamps in responses use ISO 8601 with a time zone offset, eg `2021-06-15T09:25:25.756+10:00`.
* Filters such as `updated_at` take an ISO 8601 date and time in UTC, in the form `yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss`, eg `2023-02-01T15:12:13`. Give the time in UTC, without a time zone offset.
* Date fields in requests, such as due dates, accept `yyyy-mm-dd`, `dd/mm/yyyy` or `dd/mm/yy`.
